Breath and Choke

Remo: “The title for my new album “Not The Only One” comes from the song “Imagine” by John Lennon. In it he sings, “you may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one”. This song has always had a powerful influence on me, especially when feeling frustrated about the state of the world. It has reminded me that there are people all around the world that feel just like I do, and together we can make change.

This is not a dedication album by any means, but rather an acknowledgment and thank you to a great artist that has helped influence my life. Twenty-nine years ago today, Dec. 8, John Lennon was shot and killed. In the years before his death he was very outspoken against the Vietnam War. He could have lived the carefree life of a celebrity, but instead chose to use his voice to make a difference. His message still lives on.

On this album I’ve had the pleasure to work with some amazing musicians and artists including Donnan Linkz, Africa’s Trigger, Forrest Day, Samantha Alexes, DigDug, Darren Willett, Derek Brooker, Rascue, DJ Soulspeak, and Soundtruck.” Remo
