Also, from APN News: The Trump administration threw the burgeoning movement to legalize marijuana into uncertainty Thursday as it lifted an Obama-era policy that kept federal authorities from cracking down on the pot trade in states where the drug is legal….. APN News story continues….Attorney General Jeff Sessions will now leave it up to federal prosecutors to decide what to do when state rules collide with federal drug law. Sessions’ action, just three days after a legalization law went into effect in California, threatened the future of the young industry, created confusion in states where the drug is legal and outraged both marijuana advocates and some members of Congress, including Sessions’ fellow Republicans. Many conservatives are wary of what they see as federal intrusion in areas they believe must be left to the states….this article continues, read it here. By the way…what’s the GovCloud?
Unfortunately, for many people who might benefit from using the plant, “marihuana” is still classified under Schedule I of the federal Controlled Substances Act along with dangerous and/or addictive man-made chemical concoctions like Ecstasy and LSD. How safe for Americans & Vets are emerging tracking technologies?
READ THIS: “…The bill requires the institute of cannabis research at Colorado state university…to develop marijuana tracking technology…an agent… is applied to a marijuana plant, marijuana product, industrial hemp, or industrial hemp product and then scanned by a device….” In Colorado, check out SB 18-029. Also, who is profiting from tracking technologies? Kind, founded in 2013, makes software for cannabis growers, sellers, and government agencies to help them monitor marijuana from “seed-to-sale.” “By the use of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology combined with serialized item tracking, the system creates an ‘end to end’ surveillance system…” Check out METRC. “Jeff Sessions needs to go…” Natural News’ Mike Adams
Mike says…..By now, you’ve probably heard that U.S. DOJ head Jeff Sessions just “re-criminalized” all cannabis nationwide, regardless of state-based legalization of cannabis for medical and recreational use.
“The Justice Department chief effectively withdrew federal guidelines that helped limit prosecutions of businesses and individuals who sold pot in a legal manner under state law because marijuana sales are still banned under federal law,” reports The Daily Sheeple. “Sessions, a hard-liner against the push to legalize marijuana, has vowed to take a tougher stance since joining the Trump administration last year.”
“Instead of going after ‘high crimes’ committed by public servants that put our republic in grave danger, Sessions is instead hyper-focused on …pot,” writes JD Heyes for Natural News. “Now, it seems, Trump’s AG believes marijuana poses a bigger threat to public law and order than, say, mishandling reams of classified information that can be used by our enemies to blackmail our officials, undermine our diplomatic efforts, and generally put all 323 million-plus Americans in grave danger.”
SSRIs – S.S.R.Lies by Michael Adams…. This song attacks the crimes against humanity committed by modern psychiatry, painting a disturbing picture of the side effects of antidepressant drugs. Song is 100% non-commercial and free to share.
…Simply stated, Jeff Sessions needs to go. Functioning as little more than a throwback to the days of “Reefer Madness” and hyper-paranoia against cannabis, Sessions has also proven himself to be utterly and completely useless….Beyond a mere disappointment, Jeff Sessions now demonstrates that he is a cowardly menace to the liberties and freedoms of all Americans. This is especially true for veterans who depend on medical cannabis to treat their serious health conditions while avoiding dangerous, suicide-inducing prescription pharmaceuticals.
It’s also true for all those individuals attempting to avoid addictive opioid drugs. Cannabis products safe, non-addictive and affordable alternatives for pain treatment, ultimately saving governments hundreds of millions of dollars a year in conventional pain treatment costs (and prescription painkillers that are devastating America today).
“Access to natural medicine is a fundamental human right…” Natural News’ Mike Adams
….Jeff Sessions now seems determined to obliterate in his misguided quest to assert woefully outdated federal laws across state lines. If there were ever an argument for the Tenth Amendment, this is it! States, not deranged bureaucrats in Washington, should decide these issues for themselves. In fact, many states have already decided…..It’s pure totalitarianism, folks. You are watching the utter criminality and deranged power of the federal government on display with all this….This article continues…read the entire article at Natural News.
Sarah Sanders said, “The president believes in forcing federal law. That would be his top priority, and that is regardless of what the topic is, whether it’s marijuana, or whether it’s immigration. The president strongly believes that we should enforce federal law. The move that the Department of Justice has made…simply gives prosecutors the tools to take on large-scale distributors and enforce federal law. The president’s position hasn’t changed, but he does strongly believe that we have to enforce federal law.” This article continues at Breitbart.
MIKE ADAMS’ I WANT MY BAILOUT MONEY: “I want my bailout money Keep the bills coming Sweet green cash just drippin like honey I’m a new kind of thug with a Washington buzz ’cause Dealing debt pays better than dealing drugs What do you think will happen when they double the money supply? The falling dollar makes it harder for you to survive They take those billions and trillions and give it to their own kind Hope you don’t mind bein robbed blind….”
So…..here’s a Blast from the Past! We featured this song from Mike in 2009.
Excerpts continued from APN NEWS: Trump, as a candidate, said pot should be left up to the states, but his personal views on marijuana remain largely unknown. It is not clear how the change might affect states where marijuana is legal for medical purposes. A congressional amendment blocks the Justice Department from interfering with medical marijuana programs in states where it is allowed. Justice officials said they would follow the law, but would not preclude the possibility of medical-marijuana related prosecutions. Officials wouldn’t say whether federal prosecutors would target marijuana shops and legal growers, nor would they speculate on whether pot prosecutions would increase. They denied the timing was connected to the opening of California sales, which are projected to bring in $1 billion annually in tax revenue within several years. And, the officials said, Thursday’s action might not be the only step toward greater marijuana enforcement. The department has the authority to sue states on the grounds that state laws regulating pot are unconstitutional, pre-empted by federal law.
Asked about the change, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said only that Trump’s top priority is enforcing federal law “and that is regardless of what the topic is, whether it’s marijuana or whether it’s immigration.” The Obama administration in 2013 announced it would not stand in the way of states that legalize marijuana, so long as officials acted to keep it from migrating to places where it remained outlawed and keep it out of the hands of criminal gangs and children. That memo, written by then-Deputy Attorney General James M. Cole, had cleared up some of the uncertainty about how the federal government would respond as states began allowing sales for recreational and medical purposes. But the Sessions Justice Department believed the Cole memo created a “safe harbor” for marijuana by allowing states to flout federal law, Justice Department officials said. Sessions, in his memo, called the Obama guidance “unnecessary.”
